Our 14 yr old doxie suffered a paralyzing back injury. It took us a while to get this adjusted correctly, directions aren’t good. We fiddled with it over time and things changed as swelling went down too. Every dog is different, so you’ll need to figure out what adjustments need to be made for your pet. At first, moving around was difficult, she didn’t want to do it, but Penny has been in her “wheels” for 2 months now and she is racing around the house! She’s back to her old self- underfoot in the kitchen and racing to the door when the doorbell rings, and little walks down the street too. So glad we bought this!

 This is our 2nd set of wheels and they work much better than the first ones. My sweet boy suffers from IVDD and is paralyzed this time. These fit much better and are light weight and easy for him to maneuver. They are easy to put on him also. The directions sucked! But I managed to figure it out myself. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the directions were literally only pictures! Otherwise good product and my baby seems happy again.

First up let me state that by the time the package arrived my dog was stumbling around. On the advice of the vet we were told not to use the wheel chair. When I opened the box and started to assemble the chair I was very impressed with the quality of the product. I'm an engineer and the parts seemed to be fabricated from aircraft quality aluminum tubing. The fits were excellent. I have a Cocker Spaniel and I think that he would have been able to use the chair. My dog is definitely on the maximum capacity of this chair. A bigger dog wouldn't fit. Not having placed my dog in the chair, I don't know how it works. But I think that if you need this product. You will be happy with your purchase.

This is a very well made wheel chair. It is very easily adjustable and easy to fit to your dog. The fit and finish are worthy of automotive quality finishes. Also easy to clean, transport and store.

I have a 20 year old Jack Russell terrier who weighs 13lbs and began having mobility issues in his rear legs from his spondylosis. I thought giving him a wheelchair would help keep him stable while being mobile plus keep him exercising. Very happy with the purchase. Doesn’t feel cheap. Very easy to assemble, you just have to figure out your adjustments which is also easy. The only funky thing for my dog was the straps that go across the back but isn’t really an issue. I would purchase again.

This product is very sturdy. The adjustments are easy and apparent. There is very good support and the securement straps are very sufficient. The wheel chair comes almost fully assembled. For the price I would recommend this for your little guys in need. Great buy.

Easy to put together. Took maybe 5 minutes. Perfect size for my dog. Minimal adjustments. The only thing I put in were the wheels and tighten bolts. He weighs 12 lbs and is a lhasapoo. He was slipping and falling before the wheelchair because of extreme weakness in back legs. I put him in this wheelchair and I was so happy. He was zipping up and down our driveway. He got used to this immediately. It’s a life changer for him. I am so glad I found this for him.

Our 8-9 pound Pekingese is a old lady now (13 years old) and has muscle atrophy in her back legs. She can not stand and had a hard time keeping her position to do #2. We got her this very affordable doggy walker which has helped her with that. We have her on it 2 hours a day through out the day. She initially was able to go in circles only but if she is on fractional ground, gravel etc.., she can actually move around and travel straight. We see it as her physical therapy time. So thankful for this great and affordable product to help our old lady!

My 6 year old Dachshund Neville has been such a trooper during this time. Last week he lost most of his hind leg function. So I looked at many reviews on wheelchairs and so far this one had the better reviews and price. Neville is 9-10lb maybe 11-12lb on a plump day. The one thing I liked about in the reviews is that it's not super heavy so he could actually get himself moving around. After putting it together Neville was a little hesitant untill I just walked away and asked him to come then he started zooming around the house. (he's definitely one of those puppy's who likes to make there hooman happy) but I felt putting it together was pretty straight forward, I didn't look at the diagram pervided. But I felt like it was already built when I got it. Just had to pop the wheels on and adjust Neville adjustment and it was done within less then 15-20miniutes. So far it's definitely a very handy Little wheelchair and he takes turns really well in it.Only complaint and this may be for every wheelchair out there so I guess it can't be a complaint persay. I just wish there was a way for Neville to use to the bathroom while still in it. He still has those functions and still knows when he has to go out potty. I guess it shall be dipers when we go for walks. Besides that he took too it really well and he didn't have any trouble wheeling himself up a hill/slop in the road.

So pleased with the wheelchair for my dog. It's well made and light weight. The colors make it less stressful to see him in a wheelchair. He is so macho:) A very strong willed and manly guy.. it was so hard to see him loose his hind leg strength.. I have had him for 11 years and for a Lhasa Apso the vet says its common for them to develop IVDD.. intraverterbral disc disorder with age. So if you're shopping, shop no more. You may need a little help putting your dog in it.. treats smoothed the process:)

Intended for my yorkie 12 lbs. Just too bulky for her slim frame, and It was easier to carry her in house, and allowed her to drag back legs on grass, she loved. Item is sitting in a closet for donation.

My dog has IVDD, he is using his new wheels to get around!! It's a great product!! Easy to assemble, has all the tools necessary to put it together and even has extra parts in case you need anything in the future. If one does have issues with assembling the wheelchair, there is a video that you can access that will walk you through it. I highly recommend the dogpetsmart Adjustable Dog Wheelchair. The price was right too!!

Dapple my little chaweenie mixed breed dog suddenly became paralyzed in his hind end. He lost mobility and control of his back legs totally so they just drag behind him when he scoots around. I try to keep his walking area to only part of living space due to its wearing him down and taking till on his legs from having to drag them behind when getting around. The wheels are great for him . Hes still getting used to them and im till adjusting wheelchair to fit him perfectly. I believe Dapple can now be little happier cause he doesn't have to drag his hind end around everywhere.

This pet wheelchair is very easy to adjust and assemble, it's best to measure it on your dog while putting the legs and wheels on. Its materials and workmanship is of good quality. It took my dog a little treat to get him to start rolling, but he soon caught on. I reccomend this model for smaller dogs, like my 27 pound ShihTzu depicted in the fotos I uploaded.

Very little assembly required, mainly just needs adjusting to your pet. We have only had it for a few days, and our dogs seems to like it. So far we are happy with this purchase. The cart is very sturdy and was easy to adjust to our dog. I would reccomend this cart, great buy for the money!

We got this wheelchair for a mini dachshund hound who had a herniated disc and is causing paralysis. We got it during the winter time which is not the best time for her to be using it outdoors but in the house she could get around easily. She couldn’t really lay down in it comfortably so we got an extra cushion but other than that it did help her move around and not cause sores by dragging your legs on the ground. I would recommend it.

I am so happy with my little dogs new wheelchair! I have a 3 year old 12 lb Havanese/Bichon mix that came down with IVDD (intervertabral Disc Disease) and is paralyzed from the waist down. I looked at all of the wheelchairs and this one appeared to be adequate and affordable. We put him in it this morning for the first time and he seemed to really like it. It was very easy to adjust to fit my little pup. I'm sure that in no time he'll be running laps with the rest of the dogs again.

This is a wonderful thing. Our little tuxedo is a chihuahua mix that pulled the short end of the genetic stick. His rear knees are completely shot. He is a high risk for surgery as he is so wee. He was able to take a few wobbly steps forward and then would collapse on his rear. Look at him go here! It has taken hours of adjustments so be patient. You have to adjust length, width and account for comfort and that has taken us over the course of a couple of days. So well worth it!!!

I was surprised by the quality of this product. It was easy to put together and adjust for size of our dog. Unfortunately, our dog (who was older) did not take to it at all and refused to move. We tried several times. We ended up returning it as it was essentially unused and got a full refund. I would definitely purchase again if needed.

I’m so happy about this purchase, my dog has a slipped disc and is Paralyze from the waist down. The wheelchair is easy to set up. At first Shadow was afraid and then he quickly adjusted to the wheelchair after waiting a treat. Now he using the wheelchair like a pro

Set up was easy to figure out with the little diagram included. My dog is a weird shape from his mixed breeds (pug + peke) but after several tries I was able to adjust it to his shape. The harness could be better, as it's hard to get him in and out of that part. May have to modify it ourselves. But the cart is well made and seems like it would adjust to any small dog. Mine is 23 lbs with short, stubby legs. He is able to roll around smoothly in it.

Super easy to assemble, though a bit difficult to customize to your specific doggy. That's a good thing though, it means you can buy this thing and it's assortment of sizing options mean it'll almost for sure fit your puppy. Little difficult getting there though. If your pup doesn't seem to want to move but is otherwise not hindered by it give them a day, mine refused to walk day one, but today she's scooting about like her old self. We're continuing to adjust it though, and she's much happier (or at least giving up protesting) with it today. Only thing I'd maybe change is if it had one way wheels, since she's never had to worry about rolling backwards before the device, so it initially discouraged her. Also seems to be a heck of a work out, but she's kind of a lazy pup, refusing to run even as a young dog!

This is the second chair I've bought for my dog. This is so much better than the other brand. My only issues are that the chest harness seems to hit in the wrong spot on his chest. I think he would be able to run easier if it was deeper. The second issue is his feet don't want to stay in the stirups. He's a miniature dachshund and has a deep chest and of course the short legs. I'm trying to come up with a solution

 This saved my dog and made him so happy! My little buddy was recently diagnosed with IVDD. He is getting laser therapy for his back and on medicine. He gets around great with this wheelchair and can play ball! This is a great value for the money and so much cheaper than other wheelchairs I looked at. I cried when he started using this! He seemed so happy. Thank you for a great product!

I was a little skeptical of this wheelchair since it's about $200 cheaper than anything else that we saw. But we're cheap so we ordered it and it works great! It is wonderful to see our little paraplegic corgi get around almost as fast as she used to, it's really a godsend. No need to spend more!

Got this because my dog developed FCE (fibrocartilagenous embolism) out of the blue. Could not use her back legs. However, the day we got it she started rehabbing herself and is walking well now, so I will be returning it. But it is a good chair. She's a small Maltese dog and we measured right, but I felt this was a bit big on her. We put it on her and she was able to walk OK. Wheels are wide so they don't get in the dogs way. Dog will not be able to squat. It is easy to adjust with all tools provided. I like how colorful it is. Good value for price and helping dog remain mobile.

A nice wheelchair for dogs. Getting the right adjustments for fit are a bit of a challenge. Assembly was a bitch, since there were no instructions and we relied solely on the pictures on here. Our dog loves it, but unfortunately no pic. May update with later. All in all, I would recommend, but measure twice.

We received our dogs new cart system today! Super easy to adjust to to his size and height. Looks like he is comfortable in it. A little tedious to get him in and out. Only thing is I wish there were more buckles for the front straps. Overall a great cart for the price! Very happy with this purchase.

I’m so happy I bought this for our little dog. She woke up last Thursday and her back legs were paralyzed from a compressed disc in her back. Surgery is $5,000-$7,000 so we can’t do that and acupuncture is about $1900. She was so sad when she realized she couldn’t use her legs. Today was her first day in almost a week that she is able to walk!

I will be posting a video soon, but my father's poodle has been scooting and dragging his paralyzed legs for over 6 years now. Got him these wheels as a Christmas gift and the dog immediately started running with our other family dogs when we went for a walk. It fits very well since so many lengths can be adjusted and the family is so glad to have these for him. The set screws are a great touch which tighten up the assembly so that none of the parts wobble making the entire wheelchair solid and easier to move in. Thank you! For prospective buyers, you will not be disappointed with these wheels, just do it!

Was easy to put together but no instructions on how to put dog in and use. Had to go to You Tube to learn. Little awkward to put dog in, not sure if doing correct as videos were of other chairs but dog zoomed around in it and seems to like it. He can even lie down if he wants too.

Okay hi so I put four stars just because they did not have pictures of a dog in the wheelchair. I didn't know how the front went on my dog. I literally almost threw the whole thing in the garbage. LOL. But, I wanted to put pictures on here showing her in it. Be very patient with your dog they are not going to like it. Well I mean my dog didn't like it she's not used to anything on her neck because we use a collar. So I mean if your dog was harness trained then your dog should feel more comfortable in it. She's not walking that much in it yet I just have to put her in it every day and she walks a little bit but she's not used to it. Anyways it's a really good wheelchair for the price you can't beat it. So thank you to the company for making these affordable.

This was quality and wished I didn't have to send it back. My old 17 yr old dachsund wasn't strong enough in the front legs to use it. We were really hoping. But it is a great item made really well!
